1. This website
centwise.edgeembark.site is a static website: a handful of HTML pages, one stylesheet, two font files and a few images, all served from the same domain. It contains no JavaScript that stores anything, no analytics service, no ad network, no embedded videos or social-media widgets, and no forms. As a result the website does not set, read or use any cookies, nor does it use local storage, session storage or similar browser technologies.
The only outbound links are to Google's privacy policy, the European Commission's dispute-resolution platform and our support e-mail address. Following a link to another site is subject to that site's own cookie practices.
2. Hosting provider
The site is served by a static-hosting / content-delivery provider. Such providers typically record the IP address, requested URL, timestamp and browser type of each request in server logs for security and abuse prevention, and may set a strictly necessary cookie or similar token to protect the site against automated attacks. Where this happens, it is done by the provider as a technical necessity, is not used by us for tracking or profiling, and is covered by the provider's own privacy documentation. We do not receive or analyse visitor-level data.
3. The Centwise app
The Android app has no Internet permission and does not contain a web view, so it cannot set or receive cookies. It does not use any identifier to track you. What the app does store is the content you create — comparisons, shopping lists, History and settings — in a local database and a preferences file inside the app's private storage on your device. This is ordinary app storage, not a cookie: it is never sent anywhere, and it is removed when you uninstall the app. The Privacy Policy describes it in detail, and Delete your data explains how to remove it.
4. Your choices
Because no cookies are set, there is nothing to configure on our side. You can of course block all cookies in your browser settings; this site will keep working exactly the same.
